SAN DIEGO, CA–(MARKET WIRE)–Mar 14, 2006 — Franklin Wireless Corporation (Other OTC:FKLT.PK – News), San Diego and Korea based manufacturer and leading supplier of broadband high speed data communication products, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Revolving Purchase Order from Bermuda Digital Communications Ltd.(BDC). Subsequently the first purchase order was received from BDC for the Franklin’s CCU 550 1xEV-DO USB modem. BDC, operating under the CellularOne brand, is the leading wireless telecommunications operator on the island. The order was a result of many months of lab and field testing by BDC. BDC was very pleased with the result of the tests and performance of the initial order of CCU-550 modems from Franklin. The first order of about $70,000 is scheduled to ship in the first quarter of this year.
Franklin distributes high-speed USB modems capable of speeds up to 2.4 Mbps enabling PC users to stream voice and video, teleconferencing, file downloading, internet browsing and other data transmission applications at speeds comparable to land line connections.
